Dr. Vani Poosapati

Dr. Vani Poosapati

Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Poosapati is a compassionate and experienced veterinarian. She has been practicing small animal medicine in the central Florida region for the past 10 years. She grew up in India, where she attended vet school and graduated in 2000. She moved to the United States in 2001 with the hope of practicing higher-quality veterinary medicine. She completed the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam in 2001 and her clinical experience year at Purdue University Vet School in 2004. After training at Purdue, she started working for a small animal hospital in Daytona Beach and later moved to the Lake Mary area in 2007. Dr. Poosapati is a member of AVMA and VIN.

She enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family in her free time. Dr. Poosapati and her husband have a son Arvin and a four-legged son Vinnie.

Dr. Geeta Nandyala

Dr. Geeta Nandyala

Veterinarian

Dr. Nandyala received her Florida Veterinary License in 2014. She graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 from India, where she practiced both Large animal and small animal medicine for 10 years. Her passion for learning and offering higher quality veterinary services to companion animals brought her to the United States in 2010. She graduated with a Masters in Biological Sciences from Marshall University, WV.

She enjoys time spent with her husband and daughter, reading, baking, traveling with family, and as well as the practice of vet medicine.

Allie: Lead Receptionist

Hello, my name is Allie. I’ve been in the vet field since 2021. I’m the Lead Receptionist at Companion Care, I also run our social media pages. I hope to become an Animal Nutritionist at a Zoo in the future. I have one dog named Penelope.

Cassandra: Receptionist

Hey! My name is Cassandra and I’m a receptionist at our Sanford location. I have a background in teaching and criminology but have fallen in love with working in this field. I have two fur babies. Max is my peekapoo with the adorable underbite and he definitely doesn’t act like the old man he is! Harley is my wild child, as are most orange tabby cats!

Erin: Technician

Hi, my name is Erin. I have been with Companion Care since March of 2021, but in the Veterinary field since 2014. I have always had a passion for animals, and working here gives me the opportunity to help not only our pets but their parents as well. I love being able to work with amazing doctors who help me grow and learn along the way. I adopted my dog SquiggaLee in 2015 after he was found living on a golf course for a couple of weeks. He’s the best boy and loves to meet new people.

Hello, my name is Amanda. I’m from the US Virgin Islands. I started off my career as a Veterinary Assistant for a few months and became a Veterinary Technician for the last five years. My favorite hobby is spending quality time with my family and my two dogs, Frosty my goofball and Pia my sassy hot dog.

Hello! My name is Nicole and I have been a veterinary technician since 2004 and I have been with CCPH since July 2022. When I’m not helping you and your fur babies, I’m at home taking care of my own two kitties, Pipple and Raisinette, and my fiancé of 23 years, Richard. I hope you make Companion Care Pet Hospital your primary care provider for your furry loved ones and I look forward to helping you!

Hello, my name is Erika. I’ve been in vet med as a tech since 2018. My passion in the field is surgery and education. I love being able to help you help and understand your fur babies while also gaining a relationship with you both. I personally have 3 dogs and a cat. While I’m not at work, I love spending time outdoors with them, my husband, and my son.

Hello my name is Orlando, I have been a technician in this field since 2014. I attended the Vet Tech Institute at Fox College in Tinley Park, IL where I graduated with my Associates Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2016. When I am not working my best to provide your fur babies with the best love and care I spend most my free time with my family and my own fur babies, Loki & Bane.

Hello, my name is Brianna! I’m a veterinary technician here at Companion Care Pet Hospital! I have been in the field for about 2 years and I am very passionate about caring for your fur babies. I majored in psychology at Daytona State College and I plan on transferring to UCF next semester to continue my degree. I have a very handsome tuxedo cat at home named “Charlie”, he’s my pride and joy.

Hello, my name is Julia. I’ve been in the vet field for a year. I have 2 corgis named Thor and Finn, and 2 cats named Suki and Azula. I have general knowledge of American Sign Language and have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Hello, my name is Abigail! I am a Veterinarian assistant at the Winter Park location and a new addition to the field. I’m currently majoring in Biology and pre veterinary medicine and plan to become a veterinarian one day. I love working with all kinds of animals, especially cats!

Hello, my name is Christi. I’ve been with Companion Care since March 2021 where I have occupied both Vet Assistant and Receptionist roles along with helping with our social media pages. I have a maltipoo chihuahua mix named Mia and two cats named O’Malley and Destiny.

Hello, my name is Chelsea. I have been in this field since 2018 and couldn’t be happier. I have an Emotional Support Ferret named Gizmo, whom I absolutely adore. I love horror movies and am terrified of clowns and swine.
