Dr. Vani Poosapati

Dr. Vani Poosapati

Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Poosapati is a compassionate and experienced veterinarian. She has been practicing small animal medicine in the central Florida region for the past 10 years. She grew up in India, where she attended vet school and graduated in 2000. She moved to the United States in 2001 with the hope of practicing higher-quality veterinary medicine. She completed the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam in 2001 and her clinical experience year at Purdue University Vet School in 2004. After training at Purdue, she started working for a small animal hospital in Daytona Beach and later moved to the Lake Mary area in 2007. Dr. Poosapati is a member of AVMA and VIN.

She enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family in her free time. Dr. Poosapati and her husband have a son Arvin and a four-legged son Vinnie.

Dr. Geeta Nandyala

Dr. Geeta Nandyala

Veterinarian

Dr. Nandyala received her Florida Veterinary License in 2014. She graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 from India, where she practiced both Large animal and small animal medicine for 10 years. Her passion for learning and offering higher quality veterinary services to companion animals brought her to the United States in 2010. She graduated with a Masters in Biological Sciences from Marshall University, WV.

She enjoys time spent with her husband and daughter, reading, baking, traveling with family, and as well as the practice of vet medicine.

Dr. Mary Rentfrow

Dr. Mary Rentfrow

Veterinarian

Dr. Mary Rentfrow was born and raised in Central Florida. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 with a certificate in Veterinary Business Management. Dr. Rentfrow joined Companion Care as an associate veterinarian in 2020. Her special interests include preventive care medicine, internal medicine, and implementing practices to reduce patient stress in the hospital. Dr. Rentfrow enjoys traveling, hiking, concerts, and spending time with her friends, family, and two dogs, Sookie and Jack in her free time.

Dr. Nicole Nazario

Dr. Nicole Nazario

Veterinarian

Dr. Nazario has been a Veterinarian for over 4 years, growing up very close to her loving family in Puerto Rico and graduating from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.

Dr. Nazario’s favorite part/passion in the veterinary field is surgery.

When she is not at work being the best Dr. she can strive to be for her patients and clients, she loves to be outside enjoying nature with her family and friends, along with her own personal pets – Poe and Kylo.

Allie: Receptionist

Hey, my name is Allie. I’m a Receptionist at Companion Care and I help run our social media pages. I’m in school for Zoology in hopes to become an Animal Nutritionist. I have one dog, her name is Penelope.

Cassandra: Receptionist

Hey! My name is Cassandra and I’m a receptionist at our Sanford location. I have a background in teaching and criminology but have fallen in love with working in this field. I have two fur babies. Max is my peekapoo with the adorable underbite and he definitely doesn’t act like the old man he is! Harley is my wild child, as are most orange tabby cats!

Erin: Technician

Hi, my name is Erin. I have been with Companion Care since March of 2021, but in the Veterinary field since 2014. I have always had a passion for animals, and working here gives me the opportunity to help not only our pets but their parents as well. I love being able to work with amazing doctors who help me grow and learn along the way. I adopted my dog SquiggaLee in 2015 after he was found living on a golf course for a couple of weeks. He’s the best boy and loves to meet new people.

Nicole: Technician

Hello! My name is Nicole and I’ve been at Companion Care Pet Hospital for over a year as a Veterinary Technician while I complete my undergraduate degree. I plan on going to The University of Florida to become a Veterinarian, which has always been my dream career. I love working with so many different types of cats and dogs, and caring for them as if they were my own. My cat Bobby in this picture is one of my four “foster-fail” cats.

Hello! My name is Jadyn and I’m a Veterinary Technician at both Winter Park and Sanford locations. I’ve been in the field professionally for about two years now, but I’ve been working with animals my whole life. I’m currently going to school for nursing in hopes of furthering my career and educational goals to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I have two crazy kitties named Gizmo and Mushu, and a big lover Pitbull named Boomer.

Hello, my name is Amanda. I’m from the US Virgin Islands. I started off my career as a Veterinary Assistant for a few months and became a Veterinary Technician for the last five years. My favorite hobby is spending quality time with my family and my two dogs, Frosty my goofball and Pia my sassy hot dog.

Cristina: Vet Assistant

My name is Cristina! I’m a third-year pre-vet zoology student at UCF, hoping to become a Zoologist by the end of my college career. I love working at Companion Care because I learn so much and am surrounded by such supportive people. In my hands, I have Poptart, an office cat who we rescued quite a while ago. His favorite activities include eating too many treats, greeting every animal that walks through the door, and napping on any unconventional surface.

Hi, I’m Selena, I’m currently a Vet Assistant and I’ve been working in the vet field for about 2 years now. My goal is to become a licensed veterinarian. My two dogs are Thor and Luna. Luna Is the youngest (1 year) and Thor is 4 years.
